Good Question!

I had a minefield and a dish turret that I bought from an Imperial Recruiter a long long time ago - I sold them to a Rebel laughing -
thinking they wouldn't work.

Yeah, um, well, they did work, they worked really really well actually. I woke up in the cloning centre shortly after we attacked their base
with a working dish turret that looked really similar to the one I sold 'em.

I'm still trying to live that one down. <sigh>

As for bases, I've often wondered the same thing but could never really find confirmation.

I've seen this subject come up before, but can't seem to find an answer, or even remember if we actually came to a conclusion about it...

But, my question is concerning factional installations and constructions (HQs, Turrets, etc.)...

Do these items work regardless of faction?

Scenario:

As an Imp, I buy a Detachment HQ from an Imp recruiter, can a Rebel then take the HQ from me and plant it as a Rebel Detachment HQ?

I have never got confirmation either, but was always told that the bases were specific. Good topic as you always come up with.

hmmm....I don't know....I don't THINK so, or a faction vendor could sell to anyone. But I'm pretty sure they only cater to one side or another.
