Howdy folks,

I wanted to drop a note to say a quick hello to all the loyal and faithful SWG players out there. I am Alan Crosby, the new Director of Community Relations for SOE. No this does not mean I took Tiggs job, rather that she and I get to work together to continue to build this strong community. She and her team do a fine job here keeping all you SWG fans fed with information and excitement and I look forward to working with the team to do even more for you in the coming weeks, months and (hopefully)years.


This is quite an exciting time to start working with Tiggs and her team. As an SWG player (a Bounty Hunter/Pistoleer on Corbantis) I am very excited about what is coming for this already fun game. Combat Upgrade is coming tonight and the next expansion comes along next week ( I can't wait to see Kashyyyk). These are big changes and additions to the game that, we feel, make the game better and more entertaining. I know that there are concerns and hesitation over such a far reaching change to this game we have all enjoyed for years now, but we feel that these are good, positive, and healthy changes for Star Wars Galaxies. We believe that these changes will add entertainment value to the game and help to bring new players to this universe we all love so much.

These are exciting times for SWG and I am very happy I can be here to share these changes with you.

Looks like we have another Customer Relations guy. Maybe he'll answer a question?

Actually, I'm more scared that he can't wait to see Kashyyyk. You'd think they might have let him take a look at the place around the office...

You'll also notice he says that the CU is coming tonight. That seems a bit more clear that it's not just prep work they're taking the servers down for. May the Slicing Gods have mercy on us all.

Welcome, we'll try not to hold you responsible for everything.

Brenlo is cool, he's responsible for all community relations for SOE, not just EQ or SWG, but all of it.

And generally when he says something, it's cause it's coming from him, not from some corporate bot (but then with hairy feet he usually puts in his mouth a lot)

Don't you see? They hired a Bounty Hunter to clean up the mess and put down customer unrest.

I figure not only will player bounties hit smugglers, we will get prices on our head for disagreeing with them or questioning SOE.
