lol, can you say; "Preaching to the choir." ?

More generally I'd say it means; moving goods in violation of import/export laws...not just avoiding duties.

Only problem with that is we need a stable and varried economy first. And with things the way they are, people only buy from masters, so anyone below master, even 4-4-4-4, get shafted. Master boxes should not be the peak, IMO. You should get bonuses for specializing.

Example:

WS - Ranged Weapons 4 would get the best bonuses for crafting ranged weapons, but including melee or grenades will lower your ranged weapon stats. Not major, but specializing should be a point in this game.

And yes, I realize that no one will read this, let alone care, but I jsut needed to get it off my chest. And here come SOE's STs to take me away.

You could either specialize in one branch OR go master but not both...for example shipwright, the first branch (X/0/0/0) is ship chasis, and as the system is NOW you have to learn about shields, blasters, and droid interfaces JUST to learn the master level chaisis...THIS way you could chose to EITHER be an allout master SW or specialize, learning the same stuff a master learns from the master box but only as it pertains to THAT specific branch of the skill tree.

This of course would only realy work for crafting profesions as most combat skill sets allready have thier specalist elite profs attached.

I think master boxes SHOULD be the peak, otherwise the powergaming will only get worse. Back when FD was nerfed, a lot of the smugglers said "move it to the master box to prevent dabbling". And people don't just buy from masters (I've done good business selling mid-level armor on the bazaar), you just have to find your market.
