if i get my weapon a 12% speed slice (ie by a MS) could my smuggler at only 0200 (ie not able to slice at that level initially)repair it? or can i only repair at my own 'level'?

Yes. Everything a smuggler needs to know is in there. These threads in here are for jedi whines, cynicism, converstions about pie and beer, and any other GAT you can think of. All smuggler related things are in the stickies though.
Was that cynical enough? Can I post in the Smuggler forums now?

damn could have told me buy now given the effort you guys put in telling me no-help. best i go back to the AS forums - they're alot friendly over there as a rule.
oh and i did read the FAQ, just missed where it explained what i needed, so i thought someone could help out a little to a new smuggler.
if this is how people become when they get ahalf decent look over by developers then i hope all our armorsmith bugs and wishlist never get looked at!

Not until you have a tacky glowstick in your sig. But otherwise you're now qualified.

The answer is no. No Smuggler can repair it. No Armor Smith can repair it. WHY? Cause they dont break. And also you can't slice to 12%.
Now don't you wish you'd look'd in the FAQ a bit more before asking a question that doesn't pertain to the slicing system that actually got implemented.

No, it's actually quite complicated now and it really is all there in the FAQ. Did you read the right FAQ? It's the 'New Smuggler FAQ'.

Wow, like getting blood from a stone. hard to find something that isn't there? or did i still miss it in the FAQ. thanks for answering me. alot of posts do fly about and its sometimes difficult to find what does finally get implimented. with explaining skills like you lot i wish you all the best in trying to tell how a weapon or armor can get sliced to someone with little idea of the new system at all - must be enough people out there with no idea its even changed.

Quote from the 'New Smuggler FAQ', first post: "
I feel like I've been beaten to the post somewhat after seeing Balzan's post, but anyway, here's the new Smuggler FAQ I've been working on. Please take a look and help me tear it apart/add whatever's missing
Clickity"
Click on the 'Clickity' above (in that thread).

When you can't sit for a week after your half decent lookover, come on back.
