Well I could have sworn you could slice bio linked items but after I did my initial slices on my clone armor I decided to put it on to travel to my other house with the rest of my supplies and now I can't slice them anymore. /sigh

Pre-publish 19 (or was it 20) we could slice Bio-linked. Now we cant.
Bio-link? Bio-stink is more like it... About as F'n brilliant as the pointless critical slice is. Whats the point of bio-stink anyway???

Ok.. it is a sick joke because.. they had this idea of risk vs reward. Well they removed risk from just about every reward in the game. Except in this case its the exact opposite. They removed reward and its all risk when dealing with Bio link.
I'm thinking bio linked- it should be linked to your head or something right? With like a cable or old telephone cord? Giving SOME sort of reward- acc bonus or w/e. But no in this case its all risk, my Vexa Flechette bio linked pistol I was able to slice it once (level 1 slice) and was waiting for my WUKs to be hotfixed. Then after hotfix I'm able to salvage WUKS but now my pistol can't be sliced, when before hotfix it could. So I wasted the few tools I had to add 10% chance to critical on '44 XT.. well thats another story.. bleh.

Yeah this sucks. I got a Kashyyk Bladestick I can't slice and I got a house rapidly filling with reward weapons that I can't use until I find some rare items to slice em with. PLus I got a bunch of stuff from before Pub 19 that I can't slice at all!
If this is working as intended then TELL US!!! If this is a bug then FIX IT!!!!

a bio-link isn't a direct physical wet link to the brain. Think of it as storing your biometric data so that only you can use the equipment. Like those mice, or the scanners in every movie where you have to use your handprint or retina pattern to open the door.
I still don't see the risk in bio-linked armor. It's not like there's a chance for failure. a bio-linked gun won't explode in your hand. There is no risk or reward for bio-linking. It's just an attempt to limit reselling of quest items. Personally, I think that's a good thing.
Now, the bio-linking of faction armor is a different story. I understand the desire to create a faction point drain, but with the amount of decay on armor, the number of faction points needed to link a full set of armor is ridiculous.

Got a response on my ticket. Said it is a known bug and the developers are working to correct it. So for now get those slices before you bio link.
