Thread: Slicing 4 = to Master Smuggler?

I did a search and didn't find the answer and have been getting conflicting reports. I have Master Smuggler now but am looking for a way to gain enough skill points to pick up a prof that allows me to wear RIS (battle armor)
If I am not getting anything extra for slicing at Master I may drop it and Dirty Fighting to gain some skill points.
I know this may be an unpopular topic, and I hate to drop Master Smuggler, but I want to wear some RIS I found.

Slicing4 isn't equal to Master, it appears ... on the other hand, I'd think it to be plenty if you don't go looking for the loot needed for anything better than basic slices now.

I don't find anything about slicing in my Master Box.... what slices will I not be able to do if I drop master?

This game has never had anything about Slicing written in the Master box. Anyway, the total customization you can make at Slicing 4 isn't 100%, but I'm unsure of the max you can reach at this point.*

as i've put in other posts (As I do have a master smuggler alt) If you look at the master box again. it clearly states that it adds +25 weapon and armor customization. At slicing 4 you only have 75 points, at master you have 100 points. It's quite possible for a master smuggler to slice a weapon or piece of armor to the 100 percent range. i've done it several times since the slicing revamp.
