Guildie of mine is MBH, I was going to slice weapons for him. I was unable to bring the slice option up for the MBH Only weapons. I thought you could slice all weapons as Master Smuggler. If anything you just couldnt USE the weapons in combat that are for MBH only but still slice them.

Is this a bug? or is it just the way it is.?

His weapons may be already sliced... or they may be pre-Pub 19 weapons and they're bugged.

You can slice any weapon, not just ones you're certed for.

You can slice weapons you are not certed for. The weapon was likely sliced pre-pub 19, and the bug without the "weapon has been modified..." text didn't appear.
