Myinterpretation of today's SOE message to players:

We are concentrating all of our developers on JTL.

Deal with the current game problems untilJTL comes out.

Then we will address current problems.

Unless there are problems with JTL, but what are the chances of that?

As always, Jedi will get 90% of our attention.

I am seriously getting pissed off at these announcements. The smuggler revamp was "delayed" and now not even mentioned.

We've been delayed more than the GCW and Combat Balance revamps and yet, once again there is no mention of Smugglers.

It is in the sametime frame and once we ship JTL and re-assemble theteam, we'll put together a more concrete answer, though it will be during this time.

Thanks for posting that Caylin. I sure hope SOE comes through this time with a "concrete answer". Based on past performance you can understand my and other people's skepticism.

By the way I think you're doing an awesome job as correspondent! Any ranting by me is certainly not directed at you.

Um, am I the only thinking that "the same timeframe" = "After we've done everything else" ?

No, that is how I read it too. I asked him for clarification, but likely won't get it.

I'm not trying to be pessimistic here, just realistic.

I'd say that even *that* is optimistic, as they've never actually given us a timeframe!By the time they're finally happy with Jedi, the Combat Revamp, the GCW, JTLand the inevitable JTL revamp, all the devs will be moved over to the SWG2 project.
