Thread: Bye smugglers
I've been a smuggler sinceI began the game, if you can call it that, and have been waiting patiently for a revamp, when the DE revamp came i was hopeful, I even commented that the devs were finally doing something. I am going to give smuggler up today, it is a waste of skill points. Im done hoping for a revamp and being everyones slice monkey. Im a smuggler not a slicer. I will take up one of the 3-4 WORKING professions instead of this 122 points of wasted skill. Fare well smuggling community.

I wouldn't exactly call Master Smuggler a waste of skill points. It can be very fun if you have the right mind-set for it. You have to love Smugglers in general or the community. If you're in it to be a 1337 d3wd to pwn all and make big bucks....you're welcome to give it a try. I guess you could make the big bucks slicing full time but not very many smugglers prefer that. You being one of them. And /raises hand...I'm there with you. I am a Smuggler, not a slice jockey.
Still though, is Master Smuggler a waste? Absolutely not. Could you have spent your skill points on a more profitable or powerfull profession? Yes. Can someone work towards and become a Smuggler since Day 1 last year and explore other profession to see if they like a different path AND still be a "smuggler"? I'm your example.

So, see what else is out there but it sounds to me like you're just not in it for what is it. Check back September of '06 when the first round of Smuggler changes hit Test Center 6 (the other 5 are working on 3rd and 4th "Jedi In Space" Revamps).
