So, here is the deal...

Jedi, partucularly lower level Jedi who have the skill points, can use Feign Death, to completely avoid getting killed on a bounty.

Say what you will, but this will probably get the Smugglers a nice big NERF on the Feign Death skill.

So, all dedicated smugglers, give the Jedi who use this a big warm "Thank You".

Hasn't Feign Death already been nerfed big? Twice?

Yeah, but as they move up the Jedi trees, won't they have to eventually give that skill up?

I guess BHs aren't hip to the posture up moves.

So... who knows if this will result in a nerf or not. Maybe there can be something done to make this viable in PvP.

Now here is the interesting thing:

What will win out? The will the devs address the situation as it affects their darlings, the Jedi or will it slip under the radar because it is an attribute of the dev whipping posts, the Smugglers?

Nerfing a passive, low-visibility minority of players is a lesser evil to threatening the high-vis, vocal playerbase of the Jedi & Bounty-Hunters. I *hope* that it's left as-is; sure it's vulnerable to pos-up attacks and disease and useless for pvp, but at least we get some pve use out of it.

But then considering how Feign-Death monkeyed with the Corvette dungeon, it would probably make sense from a development point of view to diminish it some more.

Posture up attacks do not affect Feign Death. It's been tested thuroughly by Bounty Hunters already.
