I forget which starport but it was one on rori, I was checking out the POI's. Anyway I was brandishing my master smuggle tag, busy waiting for the shuttle, about 2 minutes are left, this guy was eying me and I figured he needed a slice, well evidently he did.
Guy: Hey can you slice some armor for me?
Me: nah sorry dude ill miss the shuttle
Guy: I'll give you 100k
Me: o cool ill miss the shuttle.
Sliced a suit of comp for 100k. Brighter side of the shuttle wait I gues

all I can say is... I fully agree!
Not one customer has tried to negotiate price with me. Of course when I give price, if they say "nah." I already on the haggling train. =)
Haggling... indeed a lost art. =)

If a customer disagrees with my price, I say "okay," then wait about 5 minutes and get a /tell from them. That's when the price goes higher for them. I never haggle.

I normally charge 75k for a whole suit of armor..lol!! But it is great when they come back 5 minutes later or so and go ahead with the slice..

<random stranger>: can you slice my Uber (ok that wasnt said, but it was uber) comp. helmet?
<me>: sure, 1k (this was a LONG time ago)
<random stranger>: i'll pay 100k if its encumberance.
This was when i was still a noob and 20k was lots
I miss you random stranger.....
