Thread: small annoying bug with spices

I have no idea what happened last time, whomever is in charge please delete my last post, anyway
I was coming off a pixie high earlier today, when i crashed the system message said "The Mind Enhancing effects of the Neutron Piexie leave. You have to fight to retain consciousness"
I reported this as a bug seeing that Pixie enhances your heath and action (along with secondaries).
Is this a new thing or have i just not noticed before?

I believe it has always said that when you go from the high to the downer. Then when the downer leaves you get a message which says, "The downer affects of the pixie has left your body" or something similar.

I read your post again and agree that maybe it should say "Mind Enhancing" since it effects your health and action. However, perhaps that buff is only in our imagination and we really are lying dead in a crumpled heap.

Spice Downers aren't bugs, they all have a downer, equally inverseto the upper. If you take a spice that ups your Health by 400 for eight minutes, after eight minutes, it will drop your health for about half the length.
This is why Smugglers either want to do away with spice crafting, or get experimentation for spice.

He doesnt mean the downer itself, he means the systemmessage has a logical error. It says MINDENHANCING. Last time I checked it enhanced Health

Thats not a bug either, justthe results of adev who wasn't paying attention to what he's doing while coding.
That, and the fact that a Pixie downer used to incapacitate people in the past.
