Ive come to the conclusion that the Devs wouldnt understand "fun" if it came up from behind them and bit them in the hind quarters.

There was no reason to stop auto-pulling from crates. This means AUK's, WUK's Clamps and Kinves all have to be removed from crates one at a time to slice a weapon or piece of armor. The amount of time it takes to slice a set of armor is no longer worth my time. Ive been a smuggler for many months now. Ive always been happy to slice a non guild members weapon or armor. At times if the random slicing was crappy, I didnt charge a dime.

Im going to wear the master smuggler tag full time now. And when I get a tell from a player about a slice, I will politely tell them, that due to the Devs nerfing the smuggler, I will not slice armor and weapons any longer. I will suggest they send an e-mail to customer service and ask them to restore auto pulling from crates. There are likely many players that are not aware of this issue. And many players that do not understand the level of grief smugglers now face to slice a simple weapon.

This was an ill advised change and serves no good purpose other than to frustrate players. The only reason for me to hold on to smuggler for now is to offer services to guild members and to avoid being scanned as well as feign death. I cant earn a living slicing for players given that I cant afford to walk around with an empty inventory just so I can slice.

When I die I want to go like my Grandfather, quiet and peacefully in my sleep. Not like the passengers, screaming and yelling in his car!

This isn't the first nerf Smugglers have recieved. I'd suggest letting anyone who asks you for a slice know that this was the "straw the broke the camels back". Let them know that before this nerf we had the following items nerfed: spices, panic shot, feign death. Let them know we've had promises of a revamp broken for ever since the game started. Let them know that it's more than just one change that has made you decide to stop smuggling because they will likely not fully understand why you choose to not slice because of just one change.
