I was under the impression that if we bought/sold faction an a PC base the money we spent on the faction would go to the maintence pool of the base.

Friday I bought 67k worth of faction, 5.4 million credits @ 80, at an imperial base and the maintence pool never changed. Has this been changed or is there something else that needs to be done (only certain types of bases, added to admin, ???)

I'll check the GCW forum, in the mean time does anyone who sells faction know if the credits are suppose to go to the base or not, and if they are, why mine didn't?

I have done this alot and the bribe cost should go into the base maintainence as you say. I had built a complex on Lok of nine imperial bases with some rich guy's money and the way we did it was to put up one base and use its recruiter to buy the next and so forth, by the end each base had like 2 years of maintainence saved up just from the faction buying. I managed to get one base near my current player city to 13 years of maintainence by seling faction out of it.

That said I haven't done this in a few weeks so something may have changed. Also, are you buying from the base's actual faction recruiter or some other ranking npc? I always did it from the recruiter, am not sure if other npc's will function the same way.

I bought the faction from a ranking NPC, not the recruiter. Which was probably my mistake. I need to try this again with the recruiter and see if that is what makes the difference.
