Thread: Whose still Slicing on your server?

I'm on Naritus too, I still slice on occassion if I've got nothing better to do, but at a much higher price.... but I've just been telling a lot of people "Sorry, I'm not slicing right now".
When I do slice, people have been asking my why the price is so much higher, and they say its not just me. Seems most Masters have either quit or significantly upp'ed the price. When I explain why, they're usually understanding and continue shopping for a better price... most end up coming back though, there are no better prices right now.

I don't know about your server... but if you watch the trade forums on mine.. more and more people are "Wanting to HIre a Master Smuggler". I've completey quit slicing for now until I get over my little "tude".
What's it like on your server? Most of the Smugs on mine are unwiling to slice for the populace anymore.

Ya I still slice.. I dont stand in coronet with my master smuggler title but I slice when someone asks me or for guild mates and myself.

To be honest I can make more cash with TKM than with slicing. I slice the terms and get 44k Mokk or Janta missions with the possibility of getting a crystal (bling bling baby).
I would consider slicing for a master weaponsmith or master armorsmith or two if it was steady. I could hustle and hawk my services...but for now a little kung fu action is paying my rent (and then some).

I haven't sliced anything for customers since the change, but I have for friends. Every /tell I've had since the change has been at a bad time. Now that I have a pull macro set up, I'll probably go back to what I was doing before... only slicing if it's a good time for me.
Otherwise, I can make far more money running missions as TKM.

Whats nice is that most of the folks ive instructed to read my bio regarding why ive quit slicing for the public are generally understanding. They dont stand there and attempt to ridicule me.
They just sigh and move on.

well im still slicing in corbantis server,mostly for guildies,
they go for free but the normal clients gotta pay 20k's per weapon and 100k's for full armour.
in 2 days just 1 guy payed 100k's per armour slice,
people stop calling me names and start getting pissed off but as my bio says its not my fault.
you wanna blame someone you know who to blame ehem ehem /points up
