OK so my smuggler toon hangs out a lot with a big Chimaera guild (but wont wear their tag - as a crook she needs to be able to go anywhere, any time and not be hampered by 3 little lettera)

Anyway, I get asked a lot about faction. Can run a macro no problem to sell the points. However, also get asked a lot to buy pieces of faction armour. What is the best way to do this? As a Master Smuggler/Colonel I should be able to get the good prices on things (bugger FS - not even going to bother looking at it) but am obviously hampered by the 500 point hard cap.

So is it best to buy the faction and delegate to customer so they can buy the item themselves?

Let them delegate their own hard-earned faction to me and let me buy it?

What is the best way to make use of FP discounts?

(and ummm...am a bit numerically blind so no, cant figure it out for myself)
