Thread: If any one got a problem with Last Ditch post here cause it is a smuggler move not a bh move

No Jedi is blaming Smugglers for LD, and no Jedi wants to nerf LD.
Recently, some BHs were getting artificially low health by slapping storm troopers or fighting critters in order to get close to 0 health, and then use LD as the opening move on their Jedi mark.
Jedi are only concerned about LD being used as a first strike by non-SF BHs on their Jedi marks, not about LD in general. No complaints about smugglers, only about BHs gutting out the smuggler profession for good specials and using them in an unintended way to get an advantage over their marks. To make it clear again: Jedi blame BHs for using Last Ditch in an exploiting way, nobody blames smugglers at all.

I agree this IS a BH problem. There is no where else in the game that last ditch can be used against another player that cannot attack you first. There is no way the devs wanted a smuggler to run through a MOB to reduce their health to shoot another player for an insta incap. This is an abuse of the game (notice how I didn't say exploit).
This is the fix that I feel is best: Change LD so that it can only be executed on the last MOB/player that did damge to you. Most likely this is how LD was intended to be in the first place. This would make it impossible to use on a jedi mark without the jedi doing damage to the smuggler/BH.

I've had smuggler/bh come after me before but have had the pleasure of them being clueless. Had one lead with last ditch, with full health even. There is nothing wrong with last ditch as a special. It's the people who get the crap beat out of them before a fight to use it as a lead shot while the party you're hunting is unable to incap you with a back hand that's the issue. That's clearly not how it was intended to be used.

It would also make it impossible to use in any kind of group PvP.
