The publishes are released a few days before the devs/support people are gonna be gone. Well at least they can enjoy their long weekend, while we can't enjoy ours - because they screwed up royaly and don't have time to fix it before they leave.
1st off Starsider - we got shafted the hardest, the other galaxies at least got some conversions ( I know the crates didn't convert, but if you read the forums you would have known to unpack them before the publish ) - nothing of ours converted crated or uncrated. Not included in the hotfix for Friday either, so we get to wait until at the earliest July 6th for a fix.
2ndwhy makethesupplies we need to slice loot drops. I am not a combat type play, the only time I ever whip out the gun is when I am challenged - and I usually wake up in the cloner. Now I am expected to go out and kill high level content just so I can play my character. This is a role playing game, not some online shooter. Everyone should be able to play in their own way - don't force us to do things the same as everyone else, because it could force people out the door.
3rd A rule of thumb, there should be multiple TC available. 1 dedicated to a hardcore group of testers that make their characters from scratch and religously test the product, 1 based on a random existing galaxy (not the same on all the time), and 1 with the "blue frogs" available. This would encourage more people to actually go on the test center and give the subjects a good working over,discovering more bugs or problems. However, you would also have to actually listen to the testers and look into the issues before it is released into a live environment.

Sorry folks, I have had a long day. Now that I have released my frustrations, I am going to kick back with myBud Light 12 packand relax. Since my SWG long weekend is pretty well shot, I entered myself in a pie eating contest at the local 4th of July festival and bought a lot of illegal fireworks ( everything except sparklers/snakes ) fun times ahead.
