Thread: new smuggler needs advice on slicing plasma flame thrower

a fellow guild member wants his flame thrower sliced, its stats are speed 3.06 max damage 1017 sac 122.
i don't know the cap on max damage for this weapon, so i how much to slice for damage, if at all, it seems to me to need speed slices. any comments.
he has a illegelbooster core, but i think it would be a waste on this weapon.

I tried to slice a sweet featherweight fwg5 for a friend and right from the lvl 1 slice it told me it could not be damage boosted any more.
I'd say speed.

and on our server so far the illegal core boosters are occasionally fetching 500k-2 mill.

I would make sure it was unpowered and the safety is on I did not do this and I miss my eyebrows

I believe the damage cap for PFTs is 1148. (According to the thread in the WS forums.) So, since 1017*1.08=1098.36, you should be able to slice for damage.
