Thread: Possible Smuggler Temp
. However, I've always had an idea...... trying MComando/MSmuggler. Then pulling out a flamethrower or proton rifle and doing concussion shot and mezzing about 10+ people in PvP. My question is..... is this any good for 1v1 playing? Or only suited to crowd control in PvP? Its either this, or go dancer! Help me you smugglers, your my semi only hope!

LOL! Have you got THE professions picked out my friend. The only think you're missing is a broken crafting profession!
If you want PvP, go BH/Smuggler. If you're into killing mobs, I'm sure your pick off Commando/MS would be cool. (Plus it's neat to piss off the people you group with to do an area attack the feign death. Did that to some a$$hole who led me into the necrosis cave and started barking orders. This time, I didn't have my guildmates to protect. HA!)
I've been getting alot of requests for slicing lately that I haven't in the past. I guess smuggler is dying fast, so it's really your call. I personally enjoy it, even though it's not the strongest template. I'm usually still the last one standing.
just because we can hit 9k damage before armor with our beautiful LD.... problem is i miss about as much as i did with flame single 2 in PvP pre-cu

Master Commando/ Master smuggler/ Pistoleer 4/x/4/x /Brawler 4/x/4/x
With this, you'll be fine 1 vs 1. Armor breaks don't break a mezz..... . If basic armor break seems a little "gimicky" for you, just grab pistols defense instead for the root, and +40 ranged/melee defense mods. With capped mods, and a little food, your accuracy with a heavy will hit over 350 pretty easily. You really shouldn't be missing much unless you're trying to hit a master lightsaber/ master defender full of food, valor,and aura running or a melee defense stacker running Improved COB. PvP really isn't the issue with this template. It's PVE where you'll be a little (alright, alot)on the weak side.
