Thread: i cant slice my weapon

I'm sorry if there is already some post like this, but as the search option is again 'currently not available' (*sigh*)
i have to post this:
i cannot slice my weapon (a renegade pistol w adv. scope(no PuP set on it, it was obviously added throughout the crafting process of this weapon)
i still get the slice-possibility on the radial, but when i push it, nothing will happen.
-examine shows no hint it has already been sliced
-i already tried to drop the weapon and picked it up again
-i didnt have it equipped while trying to slice it (of course not hehe)
Might it be, that its impossible to slice weapons with extra components like an adv. scope on it?
any help is greatly appreciate, for my 2nd renegade obviously justdisappeared out off my inventory
(nevermind on that, ill create some ticket...

More likely that it was sliced before the new slice system was implemented.
There is a bug at the moment which wont show If it was sliced before.

That's not a bug. When the new slicing system went Live, the devs removed the "This weapon has been modified..." tag from all (read: most) sliced items. It never made any sense to me, as some of the less trustworthy types could sell guns with crappy slices as unsliced weapons, and no one would know any differently until they tried to have the things sliced. However, they're putting it back in, which is good. it never should have been taken out.
