I mean, I already know I'm cool, but I decided last night to drop Doc and start grinding Master Smuggler. Am I a fool for not waiting until the respec or doesthis make me a REAL smuggler?

Well, you'll be doing slicing xp and spice xp instead of pistol and combat, so I'd say both?

hehe I'm doing the same thing, I was master rifle/tkm with some medic....started working on pistols a few days ago. just got novice smuggler tonight! hehe

So what about us old-school Smugglers that're planning on re-grinding from scratch post-CU just to experience the new(ish) profession from the ground up? Are we cool, or just insane?
Man, i remember doing this back just after launch. That was a chore... I Rushed to Novice, then crept along though the tree enjoying myself for soemthing like a month. Never find people doing that anymore. It was a more innocent time, I tell ya.
Still remember when Zafo trained my Master box. I don't think a single Master box sticks with me like that one does... can't remember any of the others. And Dinian and I used to chatter at each other about our progress through the tree... ages ago, man. Ages.
On the plus side, TKM's gonna let me go back to wearing cool jackets while I shoot instead of lame armor off a rack! Whoo! Pilot's jacket for me!

cool is a state of mind not a title if you say you are cool you are likely not.
as for grinding smuggler now rather than later...to be honest do what you think is best most efficent way to get there. don't go out of your way to make the grind harder to make yourself cool cuz as i said that's not how it works.
you want respect from other smugglers be true to the profession and not just pick it up to be a better bh or something
cool will then find you
