As much as I enjoy the company of scoundrals and scum-bags, I'm gonna have to take a break from this board. Not everyone, but certainly way too many of you are griefing and ruining my trip -- and frankly, I'm tired of it. The following are reasons I want to enjoy myself rather than listen to the crying:
- I've played the CU and it doesn't suck. Sorry. In fact, as a Master Rifleman, I was pretty sick of critically wounding myself trying to critically wound my target. I like the change, even though I'm gonna drop rifleman.
- Just made Master Pilot and I haven't even started decorating my YT-1300! Not even gonna start equiping it until I can start loading up on elete equip with the expansion.
- Speaking of which... space mining looks like a blast. You don't like it? Good. More money for me!
- I'm also looking forward to trying to get a cybernetic eye. Don't know if they'll be available, but I want one just in hopes that it completes my look -- and it is one of the goofiest, geekiest things I can think of!
- I may even stop by some Trandosian slave camps and look for work hunting down escaped wookiees! Like I said, haven't decorated the YT-1300 yet and I could use a rug.
- Smuggler revamp. Yet another upcoming mini-game for me to play with the slicing! Think people won't pay for slices? Sure they will! Makes the weapon better. Only a 11% improvement? better than nothing. Let's see the cash!
- Smuggling missions -- smuggling. enough said.
- Being hunted. Ya know what? I'm glad that BHs won't be hunting us. The only group of players in the game who are bigger babies that BHs are Jedi. The two deserve each other. The last thing I need is to be forced to deal with an ub3r l337 brat playing on his daddy's credit card. At least I don't have to listen to the NPCs.
- New Spices. Don't know what they'll be, but I'll get 'em and I'll sell 'em. It not, the we'll have a big 'ole party while mining asteroids!
So ya see? I'm having fun. When I get to the point where I'm not, I'll leave. As for now, I'm enjoying myself and the game. I'm sorry if you're not. I need to take a break from the boards and you need to think about taking a break from the game.

When you visit the forums here you find that there are a lot of bitter and cynical players who will make you not enjoy the game as much. The other problem is that the forums is almost as addicting as the game.
The good side to visiting the forums is you get to cummunicate with people you may not by just playign the game and you will also be informed about stuff that is happening. I would tell most people that if you are having fun in game that the forums may not be for you... most of the time you can catch a little bit of the waves of bitterness though.
