Thread: A year of SWG

Yup, 1 year today, and broke the 1k post treshold too.
Still weird to think I am involved in the SWG community (here, than for a few years in my PA board exclusively, then here again now that I am Smuggler) since 4 years and a few months but been playing only for 1.
I saw my new "title", Community Leader. From the board ranks chart I have, given the rating I had before the stars got removed, I should be Pilot. So I guess that mean several ranks are no longer reachable, unless they they changed things and they are now ranks requiring more posts or more time or both. Anyway, no big deal, just that I am such a Wing Commander freak I wanted that title eventually.
I love the NWW and TGI and TLG and and the great friends I have there, and the Smuggler community is the only thing that make me really post on the official boards. If not for you guys and gals, I would most likely just read the Dev tracker and keep to my PA board and the PA board of the city I am a member of. I love this community, cynism and occasional bitterness and all. Yes, sometimes we clash and argue but it is all because we love our profession so much and in the end of the day, we are all Smugglers.
Ok so enough of the boring rambling, on with the party.
Only the best for my fellow scoundrels.
*open a few casks of Kessel Rhum and put in the fridge a pack of Hoth Ice, for thoses who prefer beer*
(no, you won't find that in a movie or SW book, it come from my days as an "associate" member of a pre-launch PA focused on brewers and bartenders, the Galactic Spirits Association. Any of the old timers remember Krigg?)

Sure ! I am in Canada tho, some might find hard to arrive in time for it.

Yes, I am now, I just saw that. When I posted I was a Community Leader and now I am a Pilot, go figure.
