You might get a tell from a player called Legov, who's looking to buy 210,000 fp to get Brawler. I made the great mistake of hooking up with him to try and thrash some kind of deal out.
This guy is either a child, or retarded. Or both.
Avoid him like the plague

Very alternative method for the waaaay too rich. FPs can be traded 1 for 1 on XP for a given profession. Here's a little rundown of the smugglers cost to do it.
Goal: Master brawler.
XP requirements: 1h Sword 91,000, 2h Sword 91,000, Polearm 91,000, Unarmed 91,000, Apprentice 620 (don't think you can exchange for these)
So all in all 364.000 XP.
At a recruiter you as the smuggler get 125 FP for 10.000 credits, you need the 364k if you were to buy the entire profession (of course s a smuggler you'd already have unarmed, but let's ignore that for the fun). This would then cost you:
364000 / 125 * 10000 = 29120000
A lot, but possible to have. Now if you'd happen to find a Colonel smuggler, to delegate that huge amount of points to you, there's also a lose during that, but fact is, it is quite possible to "buy" master brawler

That's an insane amount of money to spend on a profession you can master in a day or two. impatience and reckless spending works for some, i guess.

That's exactly what I said to him. He was adamant that Mastering Brawler would take "years", and, to top it off, he only had 140k cash...he wanted me to fundthe faction purchasehe'd pay me back....so at that point I called it quits and told him that the deal was off, gave him the reasons. Then he started bombarding me with insults and accusations.

Ah, i thought the Xp conversion only worked for converting normal XP to Jedi XP.
Either way, that guy's gotta be insane to want to spend that much cash on a profession thats easy as shi-te to master.

This XP conversion happens at faction recruiters, not in the village.
