So, I just acquired Underworld IV, and I want to take the edge off some of my -5000 factions.

How do you do this? Underworld III tells you to use opposing faction recruiters to sell points, but let's say want to buy up my Jabba faction?

Thanks.

Not sure if it would apply to Jabba faction and the like... as far as I'm aware it's just for Rebel and Imperial faction, but I could be wrong

He's correct (USE THE FAQ LUKE). You can only buy/sell Imperial and Rebel factions.

If you want jabba faction, go kill valarians

But as stated above, we can only buy and sell imp and reb fp (quite stupid, we should have more influence in the small factionsthan the gcw)

Underworld III: A Smuggler is motivated by two things: survival and profit. Sometimes it's necessary to chang sides in a conflict to achieve those goals. With the "Selling Out" skill, a Smuggler can trade faction points for cash at any opposing faction recruiter.

Underworld IV: A Smuggler's work puts him in contact with a lot of people in high places. A Smuggler can draw upon these connections to improve his standing with various organizations... at a price.

OK, that's straight from in-game. So, what you're telling me is that Underwold IV gives you nothing over Underworld III?"Various" means "two"? (OK, that shouldn't surprise me after other SOE things.) And I already have those 2 from Underworld III? Well, that's a nice rip.

The FAQ has a nice guide for how to buy/sell FPs, but I didn't see anything that said that was the only ones you could work.

Underworld's so dumb I forget exactly when you get what, but I think III lets you sell faction (either Imp or Reb) to the recruiters (beyond worthless, players will pay ten times more) and IV lets you buy faction from them, which, if you're a colonel, can be profitable.

Still, the entire line's a joke. +100 Language Comprehension's one of the most hilarious skills in the game--now we'll know what those dirty Twi'leks are saying behind our backs.

Underworld 3:

If you are not a member of any faction, you can go to a faction recruter and sell opposing faction to them.

You will randomly get 0 credits or 150-260 credits (one in 10 at very least chance of getting no money) for every 25 faction you sell.

Underworld 4: if you have less then 500 or 600ish faction in an organization and do not belong to the opposing faction. You can buy faction from the recruter. You pay either 10k creditsfor 125 faction OR 1k credits for 10. Effectively you can switch sides for about 350k ish. You can sell faction to other players at the 100credit or more per faction, BUT when you transfer the faction you lose some based on your rank, you lose the least if you are the highest rank in the faction, which takes a long time.

Is the underworld tree even worth getting? Does the smuggler get faction reductions when trading faction points in for armor of furniture?
