The thought has gone through my head to do this same thing but.. I just like being a master smuggler so much. I might make an alt that I use to kill krayts and pvp with.. probably make him master rifleman and master swordsmen with master brawler for the nice specials like intim2.

It's official, I did it.....I am a Masterno more....
Going Master Pistoleer, BH Pistols IV, and Dirty Fighting IV.
I'm still gonna stick around the smuggler boards. As soon a smuggler gets fixed, I'll be back.

Guess what, guys! I am missing the smuggler. Triple Master is the road that I am going to take. First, I'll have a little more fun with my Current template, and then teh Triple Masterrrrrr! I am coming back. Couldn't stay away for more than 2 weeks. (I made the decision last night.) I love my pistols, but TKM will help me fight until the Pistoleer Situation gets better. Good thing I capped on all slicing and spices xp....

I feel your pain. I made the decision about 2 weeks ago and I can tell you I miss Smuggler big time

Good luck in whatever you do... You've always been supportive of my posts and of Smugglers in general.
I appreciate that.
I am probably not far behind you. I love smuggler, but those FS skill points have to come from somewhere, and I'm not giving up Master Rifle! However, I do have 30+ containers stashed away in my house, and will continue to savethem for the future!

That thought has gone through my mind and for the same reason as well. At this point it is the TK that has fallen. I just can't bring myself to letting any of smuggler go. Let's hope they do fix theclass and we see the return of some of our best and brightest.

me too. I'll be back as well though. Temporarily, I'm going TKM/pistoleer0040/bh3040 I'm already stock piling containers for the regrind

You'll get the cap enforced the second you train slicing 1. It DOES guarantee you get to skip containers and terminals, however. I've reground slicing once before, may have to do it again because the temptation to drop it for now is growing. Maybe I'll go back to throwing poisons at NS elders - I know Rifle/CM is a PvP cheesefest, but PvE it's still a lot of fun and I've never been a PvP'er.
Sorry to be another potential bailer folks, but I haven't sliced a thing since Pub 10 and it makes me really angry to think what they keep doing to us

I am thinking about droping as well, I have only sliced for myself for a long time even befor patch 10. I dont even use any of the skills for a smuggler, FD is not even in my line up anymore.
I dont know if I do drop it I would not even know what to take up. I am going to look at the templats tonight and see.
It is a shame I love being a smuggler but I have noting to do as one.

Only from an NPC trainer, talk to a live PCsmuggler and you should be able to train the entire amount. If you are using the xp at the village, just dropping smuggler won't erase the xp you have.

Here's a dumb question. Completely hypothetical since I'm not considering dropping Master Smuggler. But lets say I did. I'm maxed on slicing XP (like 100000 i believe). Would that XP totally disappear if I dropped down to Novice or below? Or could someone completely take a new course with their character and that XP would still be available in the future?
