Any tips. As a new smuggler now working on the sliceing branch, I can as of now only Slice locked containers. And I always seem to cut the wronge wire. Any tips? Any patterns or garenteed way to open them? Thanks in advance -aloise

Stickies are wonderful friends.

Dante, meet the Stickies.

Ok, go buy some Molecular Clamps. You can't make them yet, but you can use them. Using them will give you 100% correct information about which wire to cut.

have Fun!!

Yes -- Molecular Clamps. They are a Smuggler's friend. Then go to any popular spaceport -- Coronet or Theed, for example -- or even the Pirate's Outpost on Dantooine and shout that you'll open locked containers for free. I did that, armed with my trusty molecular clamps (a crate runs for about 5K-7.5K) and sailed through my slicing boxes. Granted...sometimes it's a bit dry, so that can happen. Also, buy crates of CDEF pistols and survival knives and grind through those...that's also what I did. I made it to Slicer in an afternoon doing that. Locked containers are great and all, but slicing CDEF pistols and survival knives helps, too. You can even dribble them back into the market for a (low) price (I put mine up for about 275 credits and would have sold them all if I hadn't let my house go...)

Basically it's like with Spices and your teeth when you're nervous or anxious...grind, grind, grind.

I 5 starred your future use of stickies post because it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside... and it makes the twitching stop.

"Jedi claims of being "broken" are like saying "But my TV isn't widescreen! It's broken! My TV can't show high-def pictures in 1080i, it can only do 720i! It's broken!" Meanwhile, crafters are saying "We'd really like to have a TV that's larger than 12" and gets more than 4 channels and doesn't constantly lose vertical control", and entertainers are saying "Can we get some color instead of this B&W piece of junk?" And smugglers? We're listening to radio programs of "The Shadow" and "The Abbot and Costello Comedy Hour" and hearing FDR's Fireside Chats. We don't even HAVE a damn TV, much less a broken one or a "broken" one by Jedi standards. I'd LOVE to be as "broken" as they are." - The Legendary Solo4114
