hello folks, just mastered smuggler! I have the same old question though! I looked through stickies, and first couple of pages, but I can't seem to find any information on what to charge. I put up my tag, and already I've been hit for slices. I don't want to charge too little for fear of rocking the boat or ripping myself off, but I don't want to lose work either.
Second question, I'm planning on opening a shop. Are the prices listed in the sticky current? I bought a fair amount of mol clamps for the grind, and I don't remember paying 9k a crate.

Welcome aboard! And remember, it's never too early in the morning to start celebrating. You only master smuggler for the first time once.
As for what to charge for slices, the 5-10K range would probably be good; most of us seem to be at the upper end of that these days. For equipment, I'd say it depends somewhat on your server, but on Starsider clamps go between 6-10K and UKs around 4-6K a crate, and given that none of these things takes experimentation, I'd wager prices will be pretty similar universe-wide.

Congrats.
I sale my clamps for 7k a crate on my vender and do quite well (ahazi) I dont slice for the public anymore, but when I did It was 6k a slice, or 45 for a full set of comp. If I go back to public slicing I would charge 10k. Best advice is to just start charging what you want and see how much business you get and adjust it from there.

I'm from valcyn as well. If you get your shop in one of the big malls you get good business. Trouble is most of the malls already have smuggler vendor in it. I was charging 8k for clamps 5k for the UKs 2k for the knives and 2k for the suvival knives. Did okay business but don't expect the money to fly it.
I usualy just tell the customer to tip me whatever they feel like. I haven't gotten anything lower than 5k per slice yet.

Congrats and welcome to the club 
I charge 10k per slice, but I do get a few people who simply don't like that price and go elsewhere; that's their choice to make and I'm happy for them to make it, whether you are aswell is something you'll have to work out.

I charge usually 5k per slice, though I'm thinking of raising it to 10k (it's getting expensive for equipment). Of course, lately I haven't been able to slice because as it seems I'm bugged and I'm the only person in this entire game that has the bug.
