Nah - this is an attempt to smooth things over. There is nothing substantial to hold anyone to in that statement, so - we've got nothing to nail him to the wall over. They learned a lesson from that earlier oops.

Just damage control. Don't expect anything until well after JTL is out. Hate to be the gloomy gus, but I am tired of getting hopeful and then disappointed time after time after time after...

I agree that nothing new as far as are-vamps will accure before JTL however i do feel the text change and the picture are subtle ways of saying - "ok, ok we got it you guys are way pissed off". At least we were heard and when our re-vamp does happen (summer 2007) i think, it should be a good one.

I'm as cynical as the next 5 guys (combined and squared), but I like to keep a little optimism so I can claim 'objective' on my taxes.

His state of the ame letter changed. I see that as an admission of having a sense of shame. Perhaps it's being disingenuous, but I can afford to front them some credibility for a few days. Doubtless they'll turn around and re-revamp CH or BH, or DE, or creature mounts before us, but until then I'll try to calm down.
