Thread: SIGH --- if Caylin is gone, what hope do we have?
- Caylin is leaving ... gonna miss ya!
- The Village stuff was neat the first few days, but now it sucks.
- I've seen just about everything and done just about everything.
- I've been in JTL beta since the first day.
- Combat rebalance is still so far away.
- Smuggler revamp is even further.
Man .... I just don't know ..... I can barely get the drive to log in anymore.
Ok ... anyone else just plain bored?

While I'm confident that the smuggler community can find another good voice, it just doesn't seem thatanyone on the other end is listening. Caylin was as good as we could hope for, and he did his best.. but no one from SOE seemed to care. Bugs he loudly pointed out to them were ignored andimplemented anyway, design docs were never posted, issues were never addressed. Even in the rare chance where they did have an answer for him (spice nerf), they prohibited him from doing his job and informing the rest of us. So yes, we'll miss Caylin dearly, but I don't have any faith that they'll treat any new correspondent any better.
I think I'm with the "Conspiracy-Theory" crowd on this one now. We're too small a minority to be worth any attention, and the only way we'd earn any dev-time is if it's in another paid expansion. So I guess I'll wait for an announcement aboutthe "Scum and Villainry" expansion in 2005/2006? ![]()
