I really think Novice smuggler should get a vendor, and get more vendor space as we move up smuggler underworld tree. Also only smugglers sould be able to sell sliced goods ona vendor. I know this would limit a lot of bussiness for us at first.(slicing for smiths) But then give us alot more power at driving the ecom. of the game. People would both have to find a smuggler to slice for them. (i wear my tag and get maybe one request per log on) People would also have to seek out "smuggler dens" to buy presliced equipment. I know as a smuggler i hate having to look for unsliced weapons and armor (why pay inflated prices for presliced when i can do it myself) or have a friend take time out to make me something. I also would like to see a smuggler only starport on every world that has no wait time and can fly anywhere. It could have a door that had to be sliced open, and only your self and maybe your group could use. Letting smugglers move with more freedom, which our skills should grant.

The problem with this is that this is a vendor and that's the merchent niche. It would be the equilivent of the Devs giving IMP players carte blanche to carry iggegal items or give 'luck and persuasion' skills to FS. Wait.........You mean they did that? poop

lol... I won't go into this any farther then what is below.
spice and sliced goods are contraband
contraband is illegal.
contraband should not be on a vendor.

I disagree totaly. vendors can be NPCs that can be placed in homes or cantinas or what ever, in effect creating a drug dealer who sells your spice while your away. Now spice and contraband on the bazzar NO they shouldn't allow it.
and let me take this chance to say ditch spice from our skills completly its silly
Im a smuggler not a chemist

Hmm... a vendor or npc that is stationary and stays put when ever a contraband search squad decides to raid a house... hmm.
I wonder who owns the vendor... ooh the npc speaks and gives away the guilty party info...
Period, contraband I believe shouldn't be on vendors.

I've said before that I agree with allowing Smugglers (or Merchants if it must be so) the ability to place a special vendor in a Player City Cantina (only) that can sell spice, and this would be the only vendor type that could sell spice. This represents the flunky in the bar asking people, "Hey, you wanna buy some Deathsticks?"
As for sliced items on vendors, no. Slicing a weapon or armor is a peronalization of the weapon and should be done person-to-person.
