I guess I'm admitting to gross ignorance on my part on this thread but just a little question.

I was hanging around Coro today and a Master Smuggler was doing his /yell advertising. He was advertising getting 68% increases on items, ok so how would this work? I asked him how he would get 68% slices, and he said its a secret, and that it had cost him 400k to find out....

I probably missed something important because I don't frequently visit the forums so could someone fill me in on this change to the system/exploit/bug.

Sounds like a scam, there is no way to get a slice up that high, even ecumberance slice's on armour cap out at 40%.

I'd say he's probably using one of any number of exploits...

or...he's lying...

Either way, /report him and go about your business...

If anything, he's doing a double slice, but 68% is still pretty out there. in any case, if you see him again, report him for us, because whatever he's doing has to be an exploit.

Max slice on weapons is 35%, max on armour is 45%.

If he's offering more, try and get him to do an item for you. Then check the math. If he is doing above the % I just listed, he's exploiting. In which case, report him immediately and do an immediate follow up ticket.
