Well, i decided to go ahead with someone who wanted some faction... warning is to not have an inspiration...

I delegated 20K

I lost 23530... then i lost an extra 10% after that which came to 25883...

I had heard that this was possible, but now i know for sure.. this is just a warning for all... and i'm sure it is a bug too...

Valcyn: Etevei Iomag (CL 90 Jedi/Master Ace Smuggler Pilot), Ordio (Master Trader-Engineer)
Valcyn #2: Eppav Iomag (CL75 Smuggler), Yve Iomag (Master Entertainer). Living in Galatorbria, Rori.
Vendor located just outside of Restuss at (/wayp 4878 6375) - Spice, Looted Weapons, Armor, Buff Items and other Misc items. This is also the drop off location
Sunrunner: Mumybecca (CL 14 BH).

i thought you gained an extra 10% fp when buying them with a buff so its logical that you lose them when you delage them

Yes you do... but before pub 23, when you delegated, you didn't lose an extra 10% above... this is a bug and unintended.. i've reported this as a bug in game... and even the CSR who replied to my ticket said this was a bug as well... (or more likely a bug)...

No problem..

I like regular discussions, and not debates that get heated in the end...

A CSR replied letting me know (for my second ticket) that he couldn't help me with the refund of the credits/faction points, and that the donation is based on the player's rank...

Yeah i know that...

Sigh... the responses from CSR's just make me mad at times... I lost 6845 faction due to delegation while i was inspired... yet he has to go on about my rank... make it seem like i didn't know what i was doing... yet i explained exactly what happened...

Oh well, that's the way it is with CSR's i suppose...

I have had numerous CSRs confirm to me that this is a bug, and that the devs are currently working on a fix. Unfortunately I only noticed it after a large number of delegations / purchases (note - the bug also means that buying factional items eg. bases costs you an extra 10% as well), so I lost in the region of 100k of faction. The CSRs said they had no way of confirming the transactions so were unable to reimburse me

Thread: Delegating Faction to other users, don't do it inspired... you'll lose an extra 10%....
