Can you please confirm that WUK and AUKs are no longer of any use to Smugglers?

They are still used to "salvage" into the new slicing items. PLK's, Clamps, and FAN's are totally worthless now though.

I saw the Salvage option on the radial menu of a WUK but wasnt sure what it did.

They are useless, give them all to me.

My SWG Observations

If they stopped the expansions for one year and gave quality revamps to the professions that need it most, many people would resubscribe.
With all the resubs, and the new players, there would then be plenty of money to hire enough people to do 2-4 quality revamps per year plus 1-2 larger expansions per year and/or 2-4 smaller expansions per year, and not give the BigWigs a pay cut. (Possibly even an increase)

As it's already been pointed out, you can use the Salvage option in the radial menu that will convert the AUK/WUK into one of the varous components now used for slicing on the current system.

Should you no longer require them, I'll gladly take them off your hands
