Thread: the return of smugglers gone...

well since smuggling is back on the table YYAAYY

will we see the return of old vocal smuggler?

i hope so. the place seems emty with out angus and veela and saarrek(sp?)


well anyhow i hope they come back. if the smuggling is good. and with spice crafting going away from smuggler what will replace the tree? sure they told us they are removing it and turning spice into mission rewards(something we asked for whahoo) what will they put in its place?

I can see a repeat of the last time I said this, but I'm going to risk it anyway.


We don't have squat yet. The Devs have done this before... they dangle the carrot, get everyone excited, then we don't hear another thing for months. Last time I said the same thing, a few people jumped all over me, but I was right - we still can't smuggle.


Not saying I don't expect we'll be smuggling in the future, I just don't think we'll be seeing it as soon as we would all like.

oh belive me i understand. i also helped in the discussion of the orginal concept threatd i belive. but it all looks great. and to be on the table again(yes again) is better then being ignored even longer. and you right. it wont come as son as we'd like to see it. but im still glad something is being done about smuggling......again

maybe they are trying to redeem thier selves after being so silent for so long

Well I sure as heck hope its some sort of stealth/evasion tree. After all, if we are going to be on terms, and are supposed to be masters of the underworld and sneaky roguish kind of people, shouldt we be able to dodge BH and law enforcement?

we need something put in place to assist in the evasion of rangers and BH's.


on the note of SOE and the carrott. Yeah deep down i know they have done this time and time again. However what makes me think they will follow through are the recent changes to SL and the changes coming for Rangers. If all goes well once Rangers get there updates i will be more confident that we will get ours but even still i got a good feeling but then i say that everytime lol

im with you. ive been playing long time. and just when things get boring something on the horizion such as this comes along. and i agree kloud and poster above him, that it should be something to do with sneaky and smuggly moving around without getting caught(if we be locky and good enough hahahahaha)

Saarek, Veela and others are gone... I talk to them on the "good" forums, and they've left SWG and all SOE spawn for good... This is no different, and its "on the table" no more than usual... And for the "What to replace Delinquency with?" question, I'm tired of telling people... There is already some ranged/melee defense there, there's Reckless Shot, and Restraining Shot... THERE DOESN'T NEED TO BE ANYTHING ELSE!!!
