right now im grinding pistol xp to get the ability to be a smuggler. Now last time i checked you needed an equal amount of unarmed exp and pistol exp to be a smuggler. I'm quite upset that there's a whole blank tree(Neogoation)[dont mind spelling], waiting there. I think they should make it an unarmed tree of intimidating strikes, possibly robbing techniques, some dirty unarmed fighting. I mean I'd accept ANY unarmed skills in smuggler, i just can't stand that you learn the unarmed skills for no further advancement in smuggler. I really wanted to learn how to kick someone in the nuts and kick dirt in their face, not shoot them in nuts, that's just wrong.

I see smuggler as a support skill really, seeing that (from an RP perspective, this being an rpg game and all) moist smugglers would rather be a pistoleer on the side, opting to shoot their opponent from a distance rather than attempt to fight then mano-a-mano. (being the cowards that we are
) Sure they could have gone either wya, using pistol xp or unarmed xp to the two smuggler trees, btu im guessing the reason they used pistol, is they assumed most smugglers would go pistoleer aswell.
Duscuss..

Yeah, too bad pistols are gimpy right now unless you get something Uber that costs 10 mill.
Can you tell I've been grinding pistol exp lately? Only 150k more to go until Fan Shot, then it should get easier. Is it worth getting a geo to grid with, or should I stick with my DX2 and Republican blaster? Managed a decent damage slice on the Rep, speed on the DX2. You can really tell the difference too, dx2 is fast, but damagewise quite a bit less than the slower Rep.

Yep, a geo with 200+ max damage is a killer grinding weapon. I used that and spammed pointblankarea1 to blow through pistoleer in decent time. Strangely enough, my next favorite pistol was a FWG5 with a 26% speed slice. Brought it down to 1.4, 235 max damage. Worked out fantastically.

lol see now, my only problem is: what if the smuggler gets too close for comfort or loses their blaster (in a non game way cause you can't be stripped of ur blaster) i mean, i watched Han flip a swoop trooper in ROTJ and throw many punches and stuff, if you call that Unarmed 4, whatever. But in realistic thinking, a smuggler should have a tree of melee fighting. Like the way, he and many other characters in SW just pick up objects and use it to bash ppl in the head with. Smugglers SHOULD develop that lucky improv fighting skills without their blaster :-/
