Thread: Need template advice please

I am planning on picking up master smuggler, atmn im a master rifleman. My question is should i stay master rifleman and get 4-4-4-0 TKA or should i master Pistaleer and get TKM?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated

The first question I would have is why smuggler? I ask because if you don't want to use it for combat, master rifle + 4440 TK is still very effective for combat. You don't get TKM speed or power but you will have the entire meditate line, KD2, and some very good defenses.
If you want to use smuggler for combat, you really will need some pistoleer skills. Smuggler is really novice brawler + novice marksman when it comes to combat mods. Although it arguably has the best pistol specials in the game, there is no speed or accuracy to go along with it.
Smuggler is a great RP class. It has good GCW benefits in underwold such as faction discounts and ability to buy FP, slicing is a good source of income, spices aren't bad but could be better, and the pistol specials are extremely useful. If you want to fight with your smuggler, the triple master may be more effective. If you do not see yourself using a pistol for combat, rifle may be a better choice for the time being.

I myself recently aquired the Tripple Crown (TKM/Smuggler Mastery/Gunfighter Mastery) and I like it alot. I might drop TKM to go explore some other combat skills, but I love Smuggler and I am not going to drop it. I feel the same with my pistoleer skills: when I started my char I imediatly picked up a pistol and got levels, never losing the skill, and I have had it too long and loved it too much to put it down.
When it comes time for JTL I will of course get a pilot butI might drop TKM for something else. Even if it is just to test it out.
