I've been a Master Smuggler for over a year now, and a Colonel for about six months. When I first started selling FP, I was selling at 110cr - 150cr per FP because my at-cost ratio was right around 100cr per fp. When Inspiration Buffs first came out, I noticed that most smugglers had dropped their rates to 100cr per fp as the Inspiration Buffs had dropped the cost of buying and delegating FP to around 80 cr per FP. Now, it seems that the going rate has dropped to 70cr per FP.
What happened? Is there some new way of lowering our cost? Or is this new rate the FP grinders undercutting us?

Faction farming, it's the latest rage. Anybody can do it, and anybody does do it. There is no longer a place in the faction market for smugglers, so don't bother. Faction farming has become so mainstreamed, that I've heard of people GIVING away fp.

Either ground-based faction farmers as said by the previous posters, or (perhaps more likely) bored factional Pilots who spend most of their time overt in space. It can be quite lucrative if you're into undercutting.

That's what I was afraid of. I guess my faction-selling days are over. Maybe I should try that new slicing thing everyone is talking about

I would suggest that 90% of the < 100 cr per FP for Tears of Alderan loosing factions is infact not space-based, but rather /afk faction farmers. Simply because many of the 50cr per undercutters have been overheard stating things like "I can fufill your order by tonight, I expect I'll have capped FP by the time I get home from work."
My hope is that the Pub 24 AI changes make this sort of thing less viable, if not remove it completely.

I know that for Imp faction there is a lot of AFK grinding in the Weapons Depot on Talus.

Spice price gouging before they are nerfed out of existance!![]()
Then we will really have no way to earn money except slicing up terms for missions.

Well, I still occsionally still sell FP and I won't do it under 115 cpp. They can either be angry and go grind it themselves or find someone else to buy it from.
