Are you asking what the best pistol that requires a smuggler certification is? Or just what's the best pistol a smuggler can use?

Best pistol i have is a UR-G8 pistol, requires level 54 and has to be bio linked, don't remember the other stats though... but if i had a choice, I'd get one of the DL-44xt (however ya spell it) pistols, i sliced one the other day up to a modded dps of 960-something (300 over my UR-G8)

Well if you check on the weaponsmith forum there is a debate on the accuracy of the mod DPS. From what I have been able to cleen from the debate is that modded DPS give no real indication of damage when applied against armor wearing targets. Check it out and see what you think. If I find the link I will post it.

only ones i know that require smuggler cert is renegade and black falcon, both aren't that good bf has low damage and my renegade has a sac over 100 dlx 44 or whatever is a really nice one , sac is 72 and max damage is over 1k wothout power up, spend a few mill n adk it. Wehn i use dlx44 or whatever my action never drains more then 1/4 even when i use ever special i have , including riflemans'

I have a UR-G8 that I sliced to be the highest DPS of all my Pistols.

Base DPS is 355, and it has a SAC of 75, meaning this thing is the sex for special spamming

For kinetic damage I have a scatter pistol with 354 Base DPS, but a SAC of 115.

The Renegade can be made with the same stats as the DL44 XT (i.e. same caps). If you're seeing ones with 100+ SAC, that's beacuse that Weaponsmith made a bad Renegade Pistol .

But for quest pistols, my money's on the UR-G8 or Ion Stunner from the Avatar. Necrosis's Perfectly Calibrated Pistol (Master Smuggler) is alright... but its 25m max range makes all but useless.
