They can be salvaged to get the new slicing components... mostly Simple Toolkits, but every so often there's a higher end one. The Simple Toolkits aren't anything to just toss out though, just about every slice I do takes at least one.

I would get more than 100k per crate. AUK's are currently one of the only ways to get Shock Absorbant Padding, and they usually have 1-3 in each crate. Though these numbers are my own out of about 34 identicle crates.

They go for 2 mill a crate on Bria... no lie. Damn the crazy Bria inflation.

They go for about 400k-750k on Tempest. Any higher then that I haven't seen move on Vendor Search. It all depends on your server though so do a Vendor Search and see what they come out to, then decide what you're looking for.

But unless your server is super-deflated... 100k is way cheap.

the strange economics for Smugglers:

I'm on Farstar, was lucky to buy about 50-60 crates off auk's right after the cu for 1 mil

I wrote a FAQ in mail and started "educating" my fellow people wbout the new slices, ICB were selling for 1, 5 mil then, RMP for 250k

Then the BH missions became so popular and the prices dropped like poop in water, and I was almost on the verge off takeing down the vendor and placing all the tools in my bank for use later, but then someone cleaned my vendor for all SAP! I thought that was a bit strange and went for another pricecheck on the galactic vendor search, been doing it once pr weeks all the time...

So it seems Farstar is all out off SAP, the next best is selling for 300k and there were 20-25 available on vendors, most prices 9999999999.

Woooohooo, guess I have to salvage the remaining 40 crates I have and potion the SAP on the marked so I don't lower the prices again

I also bought a few SAP from a BH friend as she was doing inv 3

For these crates alone I would say 500k would sound ok pr crate as you are sure to get one SAP from each, sometimes I even get 3 from one crate. Too bad I don't get any FCT, those are rare to me!!
