Thread: I think it's kinda sad, really.

Having just used "Dev Tracker" to find if a Dev has been on this board, as promised by JustG, to spend time with us. I found a post by GreenMarine which was three lines long, in relation to the Outdoorsman proposal. Today is Sunday, a new week has started. I personally feel lied too yet again. Someone in another thread said we should wait til day 12 before respectfully bringing up the lack of a kept promise - As stated many times before, come day twelve, I'd probably have been fired. I'm not seething angry, my face isn't red and I can barely contain me rage, so let's not think I'm gone off the deep end. I've always beleved that in the world of MMO(RP)Gs, as long as you're still paying subcription fees, you're under a companies hook. I've always believed companies don't believe they have to do anything for you that they don't want to while you still pay. Personally, I believe the same to be true here. Maybe they've been busy working on more Holo Emotes or something, I don't know. Checking Dev Tracker though, there does appear to be a lot of posts in "Jedi" forums.

The reason I made that statement is that for any job you start you get a two week breather before anything you're really held accountable for anything. Basically I'm saying we should give them a breather since we've been giving them hell for days on end in that thread. My feeling is that if you continuously go to that thread to post your frustrations or express your doubt, you'll just make yourself angry all over again when you see posts detailing when we received a developer's response.
These guys are human which means they're fallible. JustG made a statement and judging how he worded his thoughts, not the edited post done by Jeassa, I believe he was sincere. There seemed to be a hint that he and the other developers knew they weren't holding up their end and were a bit frustrated at how they're going about things (or maybe frustrated at they're shortcomings being called out). Either way, I feel that they should be given some kind of reprieve before we start expecting something from them.
If they feel they will be received without malice then they should be able to give out some information or at least tell us that they haven't made and clear decisions on what to do and that we'd have to wait for an update. Let's face it, if they told us everything that went on then this game wouldn't have been released at all because we'd all find something wrong with it.
In terms of the game, it's new years eve. They have a chance to step up and do what they've been saying they will do. I know a lot of people have said any kind of communication would be better than nothing so let's give them a chance to absorb that thought without bombarding them with their failings everyday.

Have we not said time and time again "Talk to us - that's all we want." Good news, bad news, who CARES lets just hear the Devs uphold ONE promise to us. I'm not mad about it. I'm just a firm believer in if you're not happy, go, and that's why Im weighing up if waiting til Jedi is a good idea or not. I'm not flaming anyone here, because I agree that if they dont feel welcome, they wont come. But we sat for seven days, twiddling our thumbs like good boys and girls. Now is day nine. Like a lot of other posters have said "Something is better than nothing" and with that.
