In FACT...this is something we've long suspected. But TODAY (cue trumpets) a dev came in and JUST said that it OFFICIALLY doens't matter at all. WOO HOO!

(can you tell I've been in this arguement since the beginning of the game? )

Tools don't matter, I'm to cheap to use Q-tips. I use the generic version from the dollar store conveniently called "Y-Tips"

I Did not see any difference between Slicing with 10% tools over 97% tools. results seem the same any inputs?

1st was

10% Lazer Knives

10% Clamps

10% Weapon Upgrade Kits

Results were 18-33% damage slices

2nd tries

97% Lazer Knives

97% Clamps

97% Weapon Kits

Results were 18-33% damage slices

Did 25 slices for each experiment, about 50% of those slices were for speed but i didnt record them.. Ratio of hogher slices was the same on both tries

You're not really familiar with Smuggler, are ya?

You could slice that weapon with a Q-tip and it wouldn't affect the outcome.

Well.. Just too may pepl are like "I Use super tools, come heresuperior slices" .. Fools..

You are right i can slice with the q-tip.. But experiment was better
