How much would it cost me to have my laser rifle sliced for speed and damage?

Is it possible to specify that stat, or is it random?

It's random. You either get speed or damage. And there is no way to tell how good the slice will be.

The price will vary by server and by Smuggler. You can expect to pay anywhere from 1K to 10K.

No need to be rude. For all we know, this is a fairly new player who has no idea what slicing is about and has come to our forum for some info. I have done the same type thing on the tailor forum and the weaponsmith forum, both of which I know absolutely nothing about.

As at least one person kindly told you, it doesvary from server to server and smuggler to smuggler.

Smugglers can charge you whatever they want... there is no "fixed rate".

it's up to you to ask around and get the best deal.

Also, in most forums there is a FAQ or "Frequently Asked Questions" that is kept current at the top of the forum. You should always look there first for any question that would commonly be asked.

And yes, I did have someone ask me in-game last weedk "What is a FAQ?".
