the weapon i want to get a illegal core thingy (tier 4) damage slice on will actually get any benifit from it?

what i mean is what is the damage cap for certain weapons , will a tier 4 damage boost take it over that cap?

i have an assault bowcaster i want to increase the damage on but if it will only add a few points id rather do the speed instead of wasting the slice

the bowcasters stats at the moment ;

attack speed 2.62

Damage 518 - 1052

SAC 104

please advise me on the correct slices for this rifle

There is no tier 4 damage slice, only tier 3.

weapons respective slicing cap

it may be in the FAQ, I'm not positively sure though.

looks like 1184.5 is slicing cap for the bowcaster and i would probably advice the 3 damage 1 speed 1 crit slice.

I don't believe it would reach cap but I'm to lazy to pick up calc at the moment.

keep in mind though...the slicing calculator doesn't take into consideration a weapon's cap...

1096*1.08=1184, and 1052<1096, so you're good to go with the tier 3 damage slice. With a tier 1 speed slice, you'll have

559-1136 damage
2.57 speed
329.8 DPS
