Yes Nicolas Frost, I was 99.99% sure that the scan avoidance would apply to group. Just nice to see it confirmed.

While I'm not able to find the post, I do remember a post where a developer had stated in the past that the Smuggler's ability to avoid detection was granted to group members who were within a sixty-four meter radius. That is why I was curious as to why you guys didn't already know/remember this.

welll.... sounds like a good way to make money, so guys please dont spoil it and allow people you know to hire your skills like this free of charge... it will kill off most of the money flow for these kind of actions like the way it did to slicing, and whenwe had enough people had a fit we werent doing it for free or relatively free....

by the way!

we should start smuggleing prices!

For smuggling groups passed or around enemy factions it would by 5k per person for a small group and 10k a person for a large group!

For smuggling people into large enemy factions bases for fighting, dismnatling or whatever 1 or 2 mill!!

well dont really do these prices but we should start a set prices everyone can relate to if not strictly to.... just more like a relative pricing guide....

Ok, I knew the scan avoidance skill was applying also to anyone the Smuggler is grouped with who is standing close to him/her. It is working like that for contraband scans since a while. So when a dev said "the scan avoidance skill aplly also to faction scanning" I was thinking "Yes, it MUST apply to group too, since our skill already do". But then someone asked to be sure and Callandryll said "I will check" so that made me hesitate, it seemed so obvious. Guess we have to give that dev that: he never answer without being real sure. lol

Sorry- it was meant to be more of a "congrats", and when I parsed the other thread, I didn't see a link to the post by Calyndryll. Not trying to pollute your forums or nothin'.
