When the smuggler revamp arrives, do you think the devs will let people reslice there quest weapons. I had no idea the system was bugged until I recieved a 1 percent slice and a critical failure from a smuggler. I know this would not be possible with crafted weapons (you would never know what the original stats were) but since every quest item is the same, do you think the devs would allow this and do you think this is warrented?

In a word : doubtfully.
Your slicer should have known the system was bugged IMHO, and any slicer that fails a slice is just not doing it correctly (unless you mean he got a negative slice). Slicing still is a 100% success rate as long as you use clamps and READ the dialogue box - it's just that we're not getting high-grade slices any longer - negative slices in some instances even.

This is why I'm not slicing until revamp.
As for the comment, he's either a respec poser or a jerk. Either way, he deserves tohave his name posted up and down your galaxy forum as someone to avoid. The only way to get a crit fail on a slice is to do it intentionally or be limited to 7 brain cells.

I agree with what the others said - the only way he could have had a critical failure on the weapon was if he did it intentionally or did not have the slightest clue about slicing at all. I personally would have named and shamed this person as a smuggler that should be avoided - especially after the comment- then again I am not a nice person when it comes to things like that.

azzhats like that give us all a bad name. Though i do reccomend people put off slicing until the revamp. 6% speed slices all the time at MASTER smuggler makes me cry.

Don't slice anything important until the Slicing Revamp!
(Someone put this into a sticky or something - there's going to be a lot of disappointed people if they just go and slice their one-time quest reward and two days later they find out that they could've gotten something completely different.
