I just got this toon to Master Smuggler. He's an Imperial Wookiee (yeah an imperial wookiee) and te imperial recruiter does not present the option to get faction points. I have another toon that is 4XXX Smuggler and Zabarak, and he is able to give 1000k or 20k gifts to the very same recruiter for FP.

Is this based on Rank? Am I missing something?

Imp Zab here- sold over 3mill in FP last night, none of which I had surplus.

Make absolutely sure 1) you aren't "On Leave" 2) you aren't Caped on FP at your current rank.

Those are the only mechanics that should be stopping you. Do Wookies have a lower cap than other species, maybe?

You can buy faction, but to delegate you have to be Special Forces
