Thread: So when is slicing getting fixed?
1. Slicing "works": It will still increase the DPS of a weapon regardless of what the displayed percentage is. But the slice is based on the weapon's capped stats. So if you have a weapon that's near or over the capped stats for that particular type, then you're going to geta very poor slice.

I've noticed with armor the better its protection stats the more it slows you down. However, my understanding is that a master of an elite profession is supposed to be able to wear their class' armor with no penalties at all. Are you a master of whatever profession grants you the ability to wear that armor?
It seems to me, the better the weapon, the worse your slice will be. So if you use really high damage krayt tissues on a weapon, there really is no point on slicing it.
Also, the numbers are not matching up. It might say 14% damage slice, but if you do the math, it might only be 2%.

i would be more than hppy to slice your weapon mate, but at the moment, it's a little wonky. the highest slice ive had in a long while was 12%, and it is even possible to get 0% or negative slices. so rather than break your weapon, or give it a questionable treatment, i reccomend waitin' until slicing is changed. especially if this a particular favorite or expensive weapon.
Me too. I thin kmy exact Macro is:
"Psst! Hey you look like you may need the services of a Master Smuggler! Come on over and see me at BLAH BLAH and we'll talk some business. Send me a private TELL or EMAIL for more info"
Then I run this one if someone comes over:
"/whisper Hey there. If its slicing you're looking for, I gotta warn ya - the Empirehasmadeslicing a less-than legal activity and has changed the way it works. Weapons can new get a negative slice and the slice will depend on the quality of your weapon so far. The better the weapon, the lower the slice. Do you understand?"
Then I'll wait for a while why they read it and give me a response like "Ok" or "No thanks"
2 simple macros and they work great. If i knew how to add the Name variables properly, then It would be even better. I use the %TT but it just says %TT and not John Smithco or whatever.
If anyones got suggestions - help is appreciated.
