Thread: Any Chef/Master smugglers??

Since spice is falling under food has anyone tried a chef/smuggler combo. Trying to find out if being a chef gives any experimentation when crafting spices.

Presently there is no experimentation for spices, neither does resource quality count.
We are truly uninspiring as crafters

Yea. I became a smuggler after the CU due to all it's special shots. My alts are Chef, Shipwright, Weaponsmith Bio Engineer and Master Artisan. I was flabbergasted when I saw that resource quality meant diddly. But then I shrugged and went off to my grinding stockpile and made me a nice batch of pixie.
Very uninspiring. I don't even have to run around to see what stats other spices are at and compare pricing.

But then again, as a profession that is NOT a dedicated crafting profession, it's kind of nice not to have to act like one. Smuggler alone has time split between combat stuff and the incessant slicing tells. I'd hate to have to dedicate fultime-crafting-time to it, too(I found that I could either be a smuggler or a Shipwright on any given day-- I don't have the energy nor hours in a day to do both every day).
